Ratnagiri comprises a dry bulk port, adjacent to the city of Ratnagiri, which has one quay, and Finolex Port located approx. 6 n.m. south, handling primarily chemicals for the manufacturing of plastics. The Finolex facility is the third largest manufacturing facility of its type in India.

Petersburg is a fishing centre. The city has two cold storage plants, four canneries, two oil terminals, and a sawmill. Commodities handled at the port include fish and fish products, logs and lumber products, machinery, petroleum and petroleum products, provisions, and general cargo.

Deep-water facilities at the port of Portland include seven petroleum terminals, one general cargo terminal and an international ferry terminal.

Rimouski port serves as regional oil and gas distribution hub; as transshipment centre for soft wood; and handles general cargo and dry bulk such as salt and sand. Also handles fishing vessels. Port has road links.

Pulupandan is a small multipurpose port which handles bulk sugar, molasses, general cargo, lumber, fertilisers, livestock, metal and metal products.

Puerto La Cruz is a tanker terminal located in a well protected harbour in Venezuela. The hurricane path is several hundred miles to the north and has never affected navigation in the Puerto La Cruz area.

Port Rhoades is a bauxite handling facility; a joint venture between Noranda Jamaica Bauxite Partnership and The Government of Jamaica.

Located on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, Kemaman port comprises five terminals operated by four different operators.

Stag Marine Terminal is approx. 33 n.m. NW of the port of Dampier, Australia, and approx. 17 n.m. SE of Wandoo B Platform.

The Bahrain Government Harbour Master at Mina Sulman has jurisdiction over Bahrain Port including the marine terminals of Mina Sulman, BAPCO, ALBA, ASRY, Hidd, GPIC and all other private wharves within the area.

Sitra Inner Anchorage lies on the northern side of the fairway between Sitra Lightbuoy and Mina Sulman, offering protection from the prevailing NW winds.

Ruisbroek comprises of several quays along the Brussels-Scheldt Sea Canal. Berths owned by Waterwegen en Zeekanaal NV, and many operated by private companies.

Cuddalore is an open roadstead port located in the SE of India, 180 km. south of Chennai and 25 km. south of Pondicherry.

Marsden Point is New Zealand's primary oil terminal located on the NE coast of North Island.

Quelimane, Mozambique, is a river port handling containers and dry cargo, servicing the regions main city.

Conoco Philips Refinery (Tosco) is located in Rodeo; California and Hawaiian's sugar refinery is located in Crockett.
