13.09.11 Bandar Imam Khomeini, Iran, newly amended incl. facility and crane details

Bandar Imam Khomeini is a multipurpose port and transshipment point for containers, bulk and general cargo located in the NW of the Gulf 36 n.m. from the border with Iraq.

The port handles approx. 50% of Iran's non-oil shipments. Bandar Imam Complex, to the east of the port, is a large petrochemicals plant. Additional tanker facilities are available at Bandar Mahshahr.

09.09.11 Bremen port info. amended incl. port limits and berths

Bremen port is divided into the Hemelinger Hafen, Neustadter Hafen, Holz-und Fabrikenhafen, Getreidehafen, Werfthafen, Kap Horn Hafen, Kloecknerhafen, Car Terminal and Industriehafen.

The Industriehafen is a non-tidal basin, located beyond the Oslebshausen Lock. All other areas of the port are tidal.

Main port activities are the handling of general cargo, containers, vehicles, bulk cargo, project logistics and forest products. The port has excellent communication links with the north European hinterland.

Kagoshima port, located in Kagoshima Bay, Japan, comprises of seven harbour areas: Honko-Ku, Shinko-Ku, Kamoikeko-Ku, Chuoko-Ku (Mokuzaiko, Minamiko and Marine Port Kagoshima), Taniyama-Ikku, Taniyama-Niku and Hama-Hirakawako-Ku.

The port handles passenger ferries, cruise, dry bulk, oil, LNG and general cargo.
