MXTUX

OVERVIEW:  The port comprises a combination of river berths and offshore facilities. The primary cargoes are dry and liquid bulk, breakbulk, Ro-Ro and containers. There are also ship-breaking and repair facilities on the river
LOCATION:  The conventional berths lie on Rio Pantepec, between the City of Tuxpan and the sea, 250 km. NE of Mexico City. The offshore facilities are located between 3.0 and 6.5 km. off the coast, north and south of the river mouth.
