OVERVIEW:
Bulk cargo port. Comprises a private facility handling the import and distribution
of iron ore (Teluk Rubiah Maritime Terminal (TRMT)), and a coal berth (Lekir Bulk
Terminal) supporting the Sultan Azlan Shah power station.
LOCATION:
In Perak state on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The port faces the island
of Pangkor in the Strait of Malacca, approx. 80 n.m. NNW of Port Klang.
