OVERVIEW:
The port comprises the main areas of Akport, Silo Pier and Asyaport. Akport berths
handle breakbulk, dry bulk, containers, Ro-Ro and project cargo. Silo Pier comprises
a single berth handling grain. Asyaport is located to the SSW of the other facilities
and handles containers and breakbulk cargo.
LOCATION:
On the northern shore of the Sea of Marmara, 125 km. west of Istanbul and 130 km.
NE of Canakkale.
