OVERVIEW:
A commercial harbour and the largest fishing port in Denmark specialising in pelagic
fish such as herring and mackerel. The business structure of the port of Skagen is
centred on five core business areas: fishing and processing, maritime services, goods
and bunkering, cruise and leisure economy, commercial.
LOCATION:
Skagen is Denmark's northernmost town and is located on the north-east coast of the
Skagen Odde peninsula, 45 n.m. west of Gothenburg and 135 n.m. south of Oslo.
