CAQUE

OVERVIEW:  Open throughout the year. The port comprises the following five sectors: Anse au Foulon Beauport, Estuaire, Pointe-a-Carcy and South Shore. Infrastructure and equipment available for handling and storage of breakbulk cargo as well as open storage for other cargo. Good road and rail links. Other marine activities are present such as eastern Canada’s largest shipyard, ferry services and the Canadian Coast Guard IRB Quebec station.
LOCATION:  On the north and south shores of the St Lawrence River. Approximately 125 n.m. NE of Montreal.
