OVERVIEW:
A naturally sheltered port comprising the main areas of Prince Rupert and Port Edward
Cargoes handled include containers, coal, grain, wood pellets, logs, passengers, Ro-Ro
and liquefied gas. The port is also a popular destination for cruise vessels and leisure
craft.
LOCATION:
On the northern Pacific coast, 60 km. south of the Alaskan border and 750 km. NW of
Vancouver. Port Edward is located approx. 8 km. south of Prince Rupert.
