OVERVIEW:  The port handles mainly Ro-Ro passenger ferries operating between Denmark and Sweden. The port also handles cruise vessels, leisure craft and small quantities of breakbulk and dry bulk cargo.
The port of Helsingor is a Comprehensive port in the European Union's Trans-European Transport Network.
LOCATION:  At the northern entrance to Oresund, 6 km. WSW of Helsingborg and 40 km. north of Copenhagen.
