OVERVIEW:
Part of The Port of HaminaKotka Ltd. Hamina is the leading port for the wood-processing
industry in Finland. It also specialises in breakbulk, liquid bulk and dry bulk cargoes
with facilities located in four harbour areas: Lakulahti; Hiirenkari; Palokangas-EU
and Oljysatama-Paksuniemi.
The port of Hamina is a
Core port in the Scandinavian-Mediterranean Corridor in the European Union's Trans-European
Transport Network.
