OVERVIEW:  A naturally sheltered port comprising the main areas of Nordhavn, Trafikhavn, Faergehavn, Dokhavn, Sydhavn and Osthavn. Cargoes handled include fish, dry and liquid bulk, containers, offshore, passengers, Ro-Ro, project and breakbulk.
The port of Esbjerg is a Comprehensive port in the European Union's Trans-European Transport Network.
LOCATION:  On the shore of the Wadden Sea on the country's west coast, 100 km. NW of Flensburg and 125 km. west of Odense.
