OVERVIEW:
Multipurpose port handling dry and wet cargoes. Main cargo handled is LNG through
the Petronas LNG Complex, the largest LNG export terminal in eastern Asia, handling
over 40,000,000 tonnes/year. The port authority is Bintulu Port Authority and, under
licence, Bintulu Port Sdn Bhd carries out port operation services and related functions.
