OVERVIEW:
The capital port of Somaliland, Berbera handles containers, building materials, bulk
grain, bulk liquids, livestock, scrap metal, Ro-Ro and breakbulk cargo
The port also includes the Berbera Economic Zone located 15 km. from the port.
LOCATION:
On the Gulf of Aden in Northern Somalia. 130 n.m. SE of Djibouti and 145 n.m. south
of Aden.
