OVERVIEW:
Multipurpose port area stretching approx. 2.5 n.m. Comprises numerous private facilities,
including offshore moorings. Handles breakbulk, bulk and containerised cargoes, petroleum
products, chemicals and LPG. The port has no rail access, but it is only 5 km. from
motorway.
LOCATION:
On the north shore of the Sea of Marmara, approx. 22 n.m. west of Istanbul.
