OVERVIEW:
The port serves cruise ships and fast ferries operating to Kyrenia in Northern Cyprus.
LOCATION:
On the eastern shore of Antalya Bay, approx. 80 n.m. ESE of Antalya. The port is at
the heart of the city, protected by a 250 m. high promontory and well sheltered.
ISPS COMPLIANCE:
The port is compliant.
MAX. SIZE:
Passengers:
LOA 300 m., draft 8.5 m.
PILOTAGE:
Compulsory for all vessels of 500 g.t and over. The service is available throughout
24 hours.
Notification:
Vessels should forward ETA at least 24 hours before arrival, confirming or amending
not less than 4 hours before arrival.
Boarding:
Pilots will usually board vessels at or near position 36° 31.00′ N, 032° 00.00′ E, approx. 1.0 n.m. SSW of the pier head. Pilots listen on VHF Channel 16 and work
on Channel 12.
