Port handles mainly sea salt and crude oil exports along with petroleum product imports
Port protected to the east by a breakwater length 1,505 m.
LOCATION:
On the southern shore of the Gulf of Gabes. 55 n.m. ESE of the port of Gabes and 30 n.m.
NW of the Libyan border.
