On the north bank of the Chang Jiang (Yangtze River) approx. 95 n.m. upriver from
Nantong and 150 n.m. upriver from Shanghai.

There are many anchorages available, including charted areas at Chang Jiang Kou, Shanghai,
Taicang, Changshu, Nantong, Zhangjiagang, Jiangyin, Changzhou, Taizhou, Jiangdu and
Zhenjiang.
The Ding Yi Zhou Land Anchorage is available off the south bank of the river, opposite
the port. Depths of 5-10 m. are available.
