OVERVIEW:  Small river port, handles timber, livestock and breakbulk cargo. Dedicated berths and pontoons available for fishing and leisure craft. Customs and Quarantine authorities classify Yamba as a first port of entry for trading vessels. Management of Yamba port is by Sydney Ports Corporation, which trades as Port Authority of New South Wales.
LOCATION:  At the mouth of the Clarence River on the east coast of Australia, 115 n.m. south of Brisbane.
