ROTCE

OVERVIEW:  River port on the Danube, consisting of the Industrial Port, handling bulk raw minerals iron and coke and the Commercial Port handling general cargo, bulk and passengers. Icebreakers are used to keep the port open in winter.
The port of Tulcea is a Comprehensive port in the European Union's Trans-European Transport Network.
LOCATION:  40 n.m. from the mouth of the Danube river.
