OVERVIEW:
Port handles anthracite, breakbulk, dry bulk, coal, containers, palm oil, plywood
petroleum products timber and wood pulp. The port is a major transshippment port having
three anchorage areas where loading is undertaken from barges and the Pertamina CBM
handling products.
LOCATION:
On the SW coast of Pulau Tarakan in NE Borneo, 20 n.m. SW of Bunyu.
