OVERVIEW:
Terminal Aquaviario de Sao Sebastiao (TASSE) is a multipurpose port, handling dry
cargo with the export of vehicles and the import of malt, barley, soda ash and sodium
sulphate. Facility also handles containers, steel products and wire coils
Terminal Marine Admiral Barroso (TEBAR) operated by Transpetro handles tankers exporting
avgas, diesel and gasoline and importing crude oil, condensate and avgas.
LOCATION:
On the western shore of the Sao Sebastiao Channel, 52 n.m. ENE of Santos and 132 n.m.
WSW of Rio de Janeiro. TASSE is located in position 23° 48.67′ S, 045° 23.83′ W. TEBAR is located in position 23° 48.20′ S, 045° 23.30′ W.
