Port area is on an island outside the city of Recife on the estuaries of Capibaribe
and Beberibe rivers. Port handles general cargo, bulk grain, sugar and seasonal passenger/cruise
vessels. Berths are NAABSA
LOCATION:
Recife is the state capital of Pernambuco on the easternmost point of the coast of
Brazil.
PORT LIMITS:
West of Long. 034° 50′ W and between Lat. 08° 00′ S and Lat. 08° 07′ S.
DOCUMENTS:
Agent generally carries out formalities on behalf of vessel on arrival.
