OVERVIEW:  The primary port of Fuerteventura, Puerto del Rosario is administered by Las Palmas Port Authority. The principal cargoes are containers and fruit exports. There are also facilities to handle cruise ships and fishing boats
The port of Puerto del Rosario is a Comprehensive port in the European Union's Trans-European Transport Network.
LOCATION:  On the east coast of Fuerteventura, which lies approx. 450 n.m. SW of Casablanca and 650 n.m. SSW of Lisbon.
