OVERVIEW:  The world’s largest bulk export port; in the fiscal year 2016/2017, the port’s total throughput exceeded 500 million tonnes. Pilbara Ports Authority (PPA) is the port authority.
LOCATION:  On NW coast of Australia, 550 n.m. NNE of Geraldton and approx. 720 n.m. north of Fremantle.
