OVERVIEW:  Comprises three main areas; Southport, Midport and Northport. Berths are sheltered and accessed via a short entry channel. A major cruise port with several passenger terminals, Port Everglades also handles dry and liquid bulk, Ro-Ro, paper, timber, fruit and breakbulk cargo. There is a foreign trade zone and facilities operated by the US Navy and Coast guard.
LOCATION:  In SE Florida, approx. 23 n.m. north of Miami and 38 n.m. south of West Palm Beach.
