OVERVIEW:  Port Bonython is a multiple operator berth, operated by Santos and IOR Terminals and administered by the Government of South Australia, Department for Infrastructure & Transport (as Port Authority). Santos operates a petrochemical plant fed with oil and gas from the Cooper Basin. It is the terminus of the Cooper Basin-Port Bonython oil pipeline. IOT Terminals operates a fuel import terminal.
LOCATION:  On the western shore of Spencer Gulf, South Australia, approx. 160 n.m. from the entrance to the gulf, and 9 n.m. ENE  of Whyalla.
