The commercial port serving the country’s capital, Libreville. Cargoes handled include
ore, cement, forest products, containers, Ro-Ro, breakbulk and bulk liquids
LOCATION:
On the north shore of the Gabon Estuary, 15 km. SSE of Libreville.
PORT LIMITS:
Seaward limits are defined by a line connecting the following positions:
- 00° 20.80′ N, 009° 28.49′ E
- 00° 17.18′ N, 009° 22.35′ E.
Upriver limits are defined by lines connecting the following positions:
- 00° 10.89′ N, 009° 46.38′ E
- 00° 07.35′ N, 009° 46.16′ E
- 00° 06.38′ N, 009° 44.60′ E.
