OVERVIEW:
A three-berth facility handling containers, passengers, dry bulk, forest products
and breakbulk cargoes. Northport and the adjacent Marsden Point Refinery have replaced
the now-closed Port Whangarei Harbour.
LOCATION:
At the entrance to Whangarei Harbour, 20 km. SE of Whangarei and 115 km. NNW of Auckland.
The port is on the western coast of Northland Province in the northern part of North
Island.
