OVERVIEW:
Also known as Nikolayev and Mykolaiv, the port is a multipurpose facility covering
approx. 97 ha. The satellite port of Ochakov is also operated by Nikolayev Merchant
Sea Port. Nikolaev handles dry bulk, bulk liquids and breakbulk cargo, Ochakov handles
dry bulk and breakbulk cargo.
LOCATION:
Nikolaev is on the eastern bank of the Yuzhny Bug River, 115 km. ENE of Odessa and
400 km. SSE of Kyiv. Ochakiv is located 45 km. SW of Nikolaev.
