OVERVIEW:
Anchorage port in open roadstead with cargo being lightered via barges. Port handles
copra cake and crude palm oil.
LOCATION:
On the coast of Tamil Nadu State in SE India, 140 n.m. south of Chennai.
PORT LIMITS:
All water front sea area and 50 m. from high water mark contained between the following
four points:
1. 10° 49.60′ N, 079° 51.10′ E
2. 10° 49.60′ N, 079° 57.10′ E
3. 10° 44.85′ N, 079° 57.50′ E
4. 10° 44.85′ N, 079° 51.10′ E
