OVERVIEW:
A modern port, sheltered by a breakwater and still under development. On completion,
port facilities will include two large container terminals, a dry bulk pier, a multipurpose
berth, Ro-Ro ramps, three bulk liquid berths on the breakwater and a free trade zone.
LOCATION:
On the Mediterranean coast, 235 km. WSW of Oran and 250 km. ESE of Tangier and the
Strait of Gibraltar.
