OVERVIEW:
A sheltered port handling a range of dry bulk, breakbulk and offshore cargoes. Montrose
is a hub for the offshore industry, work includes the installation, supply, servicing
and decommissioning of offshore structures. The port is Scotland’s largest support
centre for offshore windfarms, serving as the base for the Seagreen and forthcoming
Inch Cape projects.
LOCATION:
At the mouth of the River South Esk in NE Scotland, 40 km. NE of Dundee and 55 km.
SSW of Aberdeen.
