ROMID
OVERVIEW:
A multipurpose port sheltered by breakwaters. Midia handles dry bulk and breakbulk
cargo including scrap metal and building materials and liquid cargoes including crude
products, chemical and LPG. There are also facilities for livestock handling, repairs
and the landing of fresh fish.
LOCATION:
At the entrance to the Poarta Alba-Midia Navodari Canal, the northern arm of the Danube-Black
Sea Canal, 18 km. north of Constantza and 135 km. NE of Varna.
