OVERVIEW:
River port on the Sungai (river) Maro. Berths along both sides of the river up to
the Seven Guardians bridge (Jembatan Tujuh Wali-Wali). Port handles, breakbulk, bulk
containers, passengers and petroleum products.
LOCATION:
On the south coast of Irian Jaya on the Sugai Maro in Merauke province, 66 km. from
the border with Papua New Guinea.
