SEMMA
OVERVIEW:
A multipurpose port handling most types of cargo, including dry and liquid bulk
passengers, Ro-Ro, containers and breakbulk. Much of the port is built on reclaimed
land, some of which is still available for development.
The port of Malmo is a
Core port in the Scandinavian-Mediterranean
Corridor in the European Union's Trans-European Transport Network.
LOCATION:
On the eastern shore of Oresund which links the Kattegat and the Baltic Sea, 15 n.m.
