OVERVIEW:
A modern and highly-automated container port with its own rail terminal and excellent
transport links. The deep-water berths and Super post-Panamax gantry cranes are able
to handle some of the largest container vessels in the world. The port has a maximum
capacity of 3,500,000 TEU annually.
LOCATION:
On the north bank of the river Thames, 12 km. ENE of Tilbury and 42 km. east of central
London.

Defined by lines connecting the following positions:
- 51° 30.32′ N, 000° 30.37′ E
- 51° 30.24′ N, 000° 30.38′ E
- 51° 29.95′ N, 000° 28.05′ E
- 51° 30.21′ N, 000° 27.97′ E
- 51° 30.25′ N, 000° 28.03′ E.
