OVERVIEW:  Limerick is one of the ports within the Shannon Estuary and it falls under the authority of Shannon Foynes Port Company. The port consists of Ted Russell Dock. The port imports fertilisers, machinery, steel, timber, animal feed and stone and exports timber, bulk cement, machinery, refuse derived fuel (RDF) and scrap metal/glass.
LOCATION:  On the SW coast of Ireland on the River Shannon.
