OVERVIEW:
Limerick is one of the ports within the Shannon Estuary and it falls under the authority
of Shannon Foynes Port Company. The port consists of Ted Russell Dock. The port imports
coal, fertilisers, cement clinker, steel, timber, animal feed and exports wood pulp,
cement, machinery and moss peat.
LOCATION:
On the SW coast of Ireland on the River Shannon.
