OVERVIEW:
Capital of Gabon. Berthing only for small craft such as fast ferries and fishing boats
(the main commercial area is Owendo, 8.0 n.m. upriver from Libreville). The waterfront
area of Libreville is undergoing redevelopment for recreational and residential use.

On the north bank of the Estuaire de Gabon at the mouth of the Komo River.
