OVERVIEW:
The largest port in Taiwan, Kaohsiung handles most types of cargo including breakbulk,
passengers, dry bulk, chemicals, petroleum products, crude, forest products, containers
and liquefied gas. Large crude tankers can be handled offshore at SBM berths. Berths
are available for fishing, leisure and military vessels and there are also shipyard
facilities.
