OVERVIEW:
Jaigad comprise two privately operated ports: JSW Jaigarh Port and Angre Port Pvt
Ltd.
JSW Jaigarh Port is a sheltered deep-water, all-weather private port having seven
berths. Handles coal, iron ore, LPG, sugar, rock phosphate, sulphur, bauxite and molasses.
New berths under development for handling LNG and ethane.
Angre Port is a mutipurpose facility with two berths on a single pier.
LOCATION:
JSW Jaigarh Port lies on the southern shore of Dhamankhol Bay in Maharashtra State,
20 n.m. NNW of Ratnagiri and 110 n.m. south of Mumbai. Angre port is 2.0 n.m. SE of
JSW Jaigarh Port.
