OVERVIEW:  Multipurpose port area in Sepetiba Bay with numerous private terminals. Handles breakbulk, containerised and dry bulk cargoes.
LOCATION:  In Sepetiba Bay, 70 km. west of Rio de Janeiro. Itaguai port facilities are located mostly on the NE shore of the bay on Ilha da Madeira. Terminal Maritimo da Ilha Guaiba is situated on the west side of the bay.
