NGIMA

OVERVIEW:  The Ima Terminal consists of the spread moored FSO Ailsa Craig 1 (the facility) that provides storage and export facilities for the Ima and Okoro oil fields. Export tankers tandem moor to the facility and oil is transferred via a single 16/20 in. floating hose
A production platform delivers crude oil from the Ima oil field to the FSO via a seabed pipeline and a CALM buoy. The Okoro oil field is located about 28 n.m. ENE of the terminal and its oil is delivered to the facility by a shuttle tanker.
The FSO Ailsa Craig 1 is a converted 274,990 d.w.t. tanker with storage facilities and a metering system to enable storage of crude oil and delivery to offtake vessels.
The facility has about 2 million bbls. total crude oil storage capacity (approx. 315,000 cu.m.). The Okoro and Ima crude oils are stored in separate segregated tank systems.
