OVERVIEW:  Hub port and leading container port in a sheltered natural harbour.
LOCATION:  At the mouth of the Pearl River Delta in southern China. Hong Kong is a special administrative region of China and can be referred to as HKSAR.
PORT LIMITS:  As per Cap 313J Shipping and Port Control (Ports) Order.
Aberdeen:  The waters enclosed on the west within a line drawn from the western extremity of Ap Lei Chau Island (formerly Aberdeen Island) to Pollux Rock (Kai Lung Wan Shek), and on the east by a line drawn due east from the southern extremity of Ap Lei Chau Island to the coastline of Hong Kong Island.
