OVERVIEW:
The main port of the Cayman Islands, Georgetown handles containers, passengers, liquid
bulk, Ro-Ro and general cargo. Cruise vessels anchor off the port with passengers
brought ashore by tenders. Tankers are accommodated at a CBM berth to the south of
the port
LOCATION:
On the west coast of the island which lies approx. 160 n.m. south of Cuba and 190 n.m.
WNW of Jamaica. The offshore CBM berth for tankers is approx. 1.0 n.m. SW of the main
port.
