OVERVIEW:
The port comprises the Langtou Port Area and Dadong Port Area. Langtou comprises river
berths and piers for small vessels and barges and Dadong comprises several large basins
and quays for larger vessels. Cargoes handled include dry and liquid bulk, containers
passengers, reefer and breakbulk.
LOCATION:
At the mouth of the Yalu River, on the border with North Korea, 150 n.m. ENE of Dalian.

50,000 d.w.t., depth 12.0 m.
Containers:

Passengers:

1016–1018 depending on tide.
RESTRICTIONS:
Vessels are restricted to daylight navigation if proceeding upriver.
