OVERVIEW:  The city of Colon comprises the former Canal Zone towns of Cristobal, Margarita and Coco Solo. Details include facilities in Coco Solo, a former US naval base and now home to two container terminals and one tank storage facility, and the Colon 2000 cruise facility on the west side of Bahia Manzanillo.
