FRCER

OVERVIEW:  A sheltered port comprising three main commercial areas: Darse Transatlantique, Darse des Mielles and Quai des Flamands. Cargoes handled include dry bulk, Ro-Ro, breakbulk and containers. Other facilities include a naval shipyard, fishing harbour, marinas and a ferry port, handling Ro-Ro passenger ferries operating to Britain and Ireland

LOCATION:  At the northern end of the Cotentin Peninsula on the English Channel coastline, 65 n.m. NNE of St Malo and 70 km. WNW of Le Havre.
