OVERVIEW:  A sheltered port comprising the main areas of Shahid Beheshti and Shahid Kalantari Shahid Beheshti is in the western part of the port and handles dry bulk, bulk liquids, containers and breakbulk cargo. Shahid Kalantari lies in the eastern part of the port and handles dry bulk, passengers, fish, containers and breakbulk cargo.
LOCATION:  On the eastern side of the entrance to Char-Bahar Bay on the Gulf of Oman, 155 n.m. NE of Muscat and 230 n.m. east of Fujairah.
