OVERVIEW:  Port facilities are within a deep-water bay, well protected from the wind and with weak currents. Handles dry and liquid bulk, breakbulk, containers and cruise traffic.
LOCATION:  On the central north coast of Colombia, within Bahia de Cartagena. Access to the Magdalena River is provided via the Dique Channel, the entrance to which is located within the bay.
