OVERVIEW:
Previously operating separately, the ports of Fredrikstad and Borg were amalgamated
in 1993 under the authority of Borg Havn IKS. The main port areas are Fredrikstad,
Greaker and Sarpsborg. Cargoes handled include dry and liquid bulk, forest products,
Ro-Ro, reefer, breakbulk and containers. Cruise vessels can also be handled at some
cargo berths.

On the banks of the Glomma River, near the city of Fredrikstad, 75 km. SSE of Oslo.
